Plot[]

A kid called Dylan Rodgers comes in to an English classroom and says this is his first day at the school. A boy doesn’t care and then Andrew comes into class. Andrew recognizes him as the nerd who is in his Algebra class. Heidi comes in and greets Andrew. Andrew tells Dylan about his girlfriend. The english teacher called, Mr. Mendel comes into class and starts to teach about Julius Caesar, Act 2 Scene 1. Dylan stands up and tells the class about himself. Heidi claps and Andrew tells her to sit down. Mr. Mendel makes Dylan sit down. Then, two police detectives come in and arrest Mr. Mendel for stealing artifacts from a field. They escort him out.

Later, Andrew is working at Hall’s Market with Heidi watching. Mr. Hall comes in and Andrew and Heidi tell Mr. Hall about their English teacher getting arrested. Andrew says this means they are getting a substitute teacher. Heidi and Mr. Hall tell each other about their substitute teacher past experiences. The next day in English class, a substitute teacher named Ms. Allison Martin walks in. She writes her name on the board and introduces herself. The kids say she looks like Elizabeth Gillies and Ms. Martin says she gets that a lot. Ms. Martin uses the seating chart to tell which kids are who. She then starts teaching about the assassination of Julius Caesar. Six days later in the class, Andrew answers a question about Mark Antony saying his famous speech. Ms. Martin admires the work Andrew does and says he is a really good student. Heidi suspects that Andrew and Ms. Martin are attracted to each other. After class ends, Ms. Martin asks Andrew to stay. Heidi is watching and Ms. Martin asks her to leave. Ms. Martin asks Andrew to do some after school errands worth extra credit. She then hugs Andrew which Heidi sees. Andrew then walks out and Heidi tells Andrew that Ms. Martin is in love with him. Andrew denies it and says that he’s doing after school errands after school. After school, Andrew walks in the classroom and sees Heidi looking in the door window and covers it. Ms. Martin says they have to clean the closet. She then grabs a garbage bag to throw stuff out and then she accidentally slips on a piece of paper and Andrew catches her from falling and Heidi sees it from the outside window. Andrew notices Ms. Martin has a engagement ring and she says she has been engaged for two months and is getting married in ten months. Andrew and Ms. Martin then talk about where they grew up. Heidi confronts Andrew and thinks Andrew gave Ms. Martin the engagement ring. Andrew says no. She also mentions that he was holding Ms. Martin. He says he caught Ms. Martin from falling. Heidi still believes he likes Ms. Martin and Andrew excuses himself.

At Andrew’s house, Andrew keeps telling Heidi he isn’t in love with Ms. Martin. Heidi still thinks he gave her an engagement ring. Andrew accuses her of being jealous and Heidi denies it. Andrew still says that he loves her. Heidi still think he’s lying. At dinner with the Daltons and Heidi, Heidi mentions that she thinks Andrew has a crush on their English teacher. Andrew denies it. They continue to argue until Heidi says she has to leave. At school the next day, Ms. Martin whispers to Andrew something and Heidi asks to go into the hallway with Andrew. They go into the hallway and Heidi asks what Ms. Martin whispered to him. He says she wants him to stay after again for more errands. Heidi thinks Andrew is lying and Andrew tells her again that he is not in love with Ms. Martin. After school, Ms. Martin has a ladder to re-tape some posters. Andrew helps with the ladder. He tells her about Heidi thinking they are in love with each other. Ms. Martin says he has one confused girlfriend. Ms. Martin starts to walk down the ladder and starts to fall and Andrew catches her. Heidi sees this and accuses Andrew of lying. Andrew explains that she almost fell and he caught her. Heidi asks Andrew why he would do this. Andrew and Ms. Martin say that there is nothing going on between them. Heidi still believes they are in love. A guy named Simon Jettison comes in and Ms. Martin greets him and tells Andrew and Heidi this is her fiancé. Heidi then believes that she and Andrew aren’t in love and then Heidi faints. Andrew then drags Heidi out of the classroom. At Andrew’s house, Andrew revives Heidi and then Heidi apologizes for thinking Andrew and Ms. Martin were in love with each other. Andrew apologizes for calling her jealous. They forgive each other, kiss, and then dance the tango.

Quotes[]

Ms. Martin: Okay! Apparently I found the seating chart to this classroom, so I should be able to know most of your names on this chart.
Dylan: I’m sitting in the front row!
Ms. Martin: I can see that! Alright, now it looks like you guys have been reading the play Julius Caesar! So where are you guy at in the story so far?
Andrew: We are just getting ready to review Act 2 of Scene 1!
Ms. Martin: Thank you um…[Looking at the seating chart] It’s Andrew right?
Andrew: Yep! That is my name and don’t wear it out.
Heidi: I’m Heidi!
Andrew: She wasn’t talking to you!
Ms. Martin: It’s okay Andrew! I guess she just wanted to give a brief introduction.
Heidi: I always have a good behavior!
Andrew: Lets just let the substitute teacher teach!
Ms. Martin: Okay! Now what we know is that it is now nighttime in Rome and there is a thunderstorm taking place. Not only it’s nighttime, what is the date in that scene!
Dylan: March 15 of 44 B.C.!
Ms. Martin: Thanks! Next time please raise your hand!
Dylan: I’ll keep that in mind Ms. Uh…Ms. Uh…
Boy: Hey fool! Her name is on the board!
Dylan: Ms. Allison Martin!
Ms. Martin: Don’t use my first name!
Dylan: Okay!
Ms. Martin: Now March 15, 44 B.C. is also to be known as the Ides of March! You’ll know more all about it when Caesar is assassinated in Act 3 of Scene 1!
Heidi: [raising her hand]
Ms. Martin: Yes Heidi!
Heidi: You just gave a spoiler alert!
Ms. Martin: Oh! I really did!
